These girls had to share theirTangelo between 3 people. They cut it into thirds.

These girls had to share their Tangelo between 4 people. They cut it into quarters.

These guys had to share their Tangelo between 6 people. They cut it into sixths. 

Fraction Fun

Today at school we were talking about fractions with fruit and vegetables.

There were tangelos and marrows and apple cucumbers.

I chose three people to help me.

Our First Day

What a fabulous first day. It was lovely to see all the happy, smiley faces ready to learn.
The children have a home reader with them for tonight, along with a series of notices.
