Today we had a lot of fun in Te Puāwai celebrating the Chinese New Year. We discovered that Red and Gold are lucky colours and made laterns, patterned cut outs and had a go at writing Chinese calligraphy using bamboo and ink.

That looks like some exciting learning Te Puawai. I might just have to wear a dress with red and gold on it for good luck!!!!
