Strawberry Jam Drops.
Today our bakers made Strawberry Jam Drops, using the strawberry jam our previous baking group had made. They made enough for the Teachers to try one each as well. Yummy.

100 Books Read

Congratulations to Adin for achieving his 100 Books Read Goal this week. As a Prize for finishing this challenge Adin got to make his own Stuffed Toy. Adin called his owl Fluffy.

Miranda's Last Day

Over the last Term we have been lucky enough to have Miranda working with us in Te Puawai. She has now finished her placement with us, so the children each made Miranda a Harakeke Putiputi (Flax Flower) and attached a message of appreciation.

Maths Arrays

Today at Munch Crunch time we sat in an array. Our array was three rows of four children. We had twelve children altogether. 3x4=12. We noticed that 4x3=12 as well. Skip counting is a great way to learn our times tables, so we are practicing skip counting in twos, fives and tens each day.

Great Math today.

Emma's Early Birthday Present

Today Emma brought her gorgeous bunny rabbit called Snowflake to school. Snowflake is three months old and was an early birthday present for Emma. Snowflake is as soft as cotton wool and as white as the snow on Mount Taranaki.

Rippa Rugby

Today Mr Karifi came to Frankley School to teach us some rippa rugby skills. We had a lot of fun and found out we had to be fit and move quickly to make sure we did not get ripped.
